Long Term Care Insurance - Private Duty

A question ....

We have a private duty relationship. It is couple care and we are charging $30 per hour to care for this couple. Both clients have separate LTCI Policies. The insurance company just called and asked us to bill separately. How do other Private Duty Companies handle this?

  • Karen:

In this circumstance, we set up each person as a separate client, and bill 1/2 to each.

  • Karen,

We do the same thing as Tom. Set up each as a separate client and split the bill rate.

    Hope that helps!
